Suppliers have important influence to the enterprise in terms of product and\nservice cost, quality and delivery. Enterprises need to implement supplier development\nto improve suppliers� supply capabilities, and promote partnership\nwith suppliers, so as to achieve the improvement of business efficiency. This\npaper defines green supplier development, divides them into direct green\nsupplier development and indirect green supplier development, and puts forward\nthe research hypothesis of the relationship between green supplier development\nand supplier relationship and firm performance. Then, using the\nmethod of questionnaire survey to collect data, according to the statistical\nanalysis of the 259 questionnaires, the results show that the first, direct green\nsupplier development has positive influence on the economic performance\nand environmental performance, but the influence of indirect green supplier\ndevelopment on the economic performance of enterprises is not significant.\nSecond, supplier partnership plays a role in the influence of green supplier\ndevelopment on the economic performance and environmental performance....
This paper empirically integrates the interplay between import substitution\nand export promote on the Nigerian economy in conjunction with the theoretical\nposition of the protectionist and the free trade activist and how this has\nhelped in promoting the Nigerian economy over the years. A disaggregate\nanalysis of importation and exportation is conducted using a time series data between\nthe periods 1981 to 2016. Series of econometric estimation tools were\nadopted in this study. Findings reveal that Non-oil export and Non-oil import\nseems to significantly promote economic integration in Nigeria. This report\nfurther gave in a support to trade protectionist and the trade liberalize advocates.\nThe result of the causality test shows that before any nation could attract\nforeign inflows, the economy must be in good form as foreign investor only\ninvests in an economy whose receiving capacity can sustain their investment.\nThe study therefore concludes that before any nation could embrace liberalization,\nthere must have been a level of threshold of industrial development in\nsuch nation....
The studies attempted to discuss one of the most important and contemporary issues, i.e. the\noperation of a logistics center on both national and global level in respect of intermodal\nservices, with particular emphasis on transport strategy. The paper is aimed to examine the\nstrategy of rational coordination of flows that can enable connection and organization logistic\nflows between Asia Region and UE. It started to be realized in Euroterminal SÃ?â??awkÃ?³w that is\nlocalized in south part of Poland and it is an initial part of a wider conception of Transnational\nLogistics Center on the Polish and Czech border. The issue was described on the basis of the\nfollowing aspects: 1. The essence of logistics center operation as a link in a chain of logistics\nservices. 2. Role and significance of intermodal transport for services rendered by a logistics\ncenter. 3. \"Euroterminal SÃ?â??awkÃ?³w\" as an example of intermodal transport logistics center. The\npaper is a result of examining the various dates from different business and administrative\nsources. Many documents and reports were investigated and some results are presented.\nAnalytic and synthetic method was adopted to provide the issues in details. As a result of the\nwork carried out, it is stated that Euroterminal SÃ?â??awkÃ?³w can fulfill the role of an integrator of\nflows; integrating and coordinating logistic flows from Asia to the EU and from northern Europe\nto southern Europe. The purpose of the study was\nto identify the Lean Supply Chain Management activities applied at Homa\nLime Company and to find out benefits of practicing Lean Supply Chain\nManagement at Homa Lime Company. The study adopted a case study research\ndesign. Primary data was collected through face-to-face interviews by\nuse of interview guide. Secondary data was also used. With the background of government subsidies and increasing consumer environmental\nawareness, this article establishes a two-echelon supply chain\nmodel of manufacturer and retailer. Based on this model, this article analyzes\nthe decision-making problems of manufacturer and retailer under both decentralized\nand centralized decision modes, and the impact of consumer green\nsensitivity on product pricing, green degree and other decisions. The results\nshow that government subsidies, higher consumer green sensitivities are\nconducive to green product promotion and members of decentralized decision\nsupply chain, but higher consumer green sensitivity will reduce the overall\nsupply chain profit in a centralized decision mode.
